Our Cinema vs Picaflick
Picaflick finds films already on everyone's watchlists. Our Cinema gives your cinema one queue everyone adds to, a Lobby to settle the pick and a record of the night with everyone's ratings.

Which one fits your movie nights?
Picaflick
Choose Picaflick if you want to keep individual watchlists and automatically find the films you have in common. Its advertised Plex and Jellyfin library features may also matter if that is where you watch.
Our Cinema
Choose Our Cinema if you want one queue with your partner or friends, a Lobby to settle the next pick, and a record of who watched, when and everyone's ratings. Keep solo films and shows in Just Me, separate from your shared nights.

Good to know
- Do both apps have shared watchlists?
- Yes, but they work differently. Picaflick matches films already on individual watchlists. In Our Cinema, everyone adds suggestions to one cinema queue and can discuss the next pick in the Lobby.
- Does Picaflick have watch history?
- Yes. Its website advertises watched status, ratings, reviews, history imports and Plex or Jellyfin sync.
- Is Picaflick $25 a year for everyone in a group?
- Its advertised post-launch price is $25/year, but its FAQ says only one paid member is needed for multi-person watchlists that include that member. It also advertises a free plan and a free-forever beta offer. Planned pricing is not a current charge.
- What stays free in Our Cinema?
- The shared queue for up to eight seats, Cinema Lobby, night history, ratings, series tracking and Numbers for a year. Premiere is optional and belongs to the cinema, not each seat.
